Client Challenge: Breaking Free from Legacy Constraints 

The client was anchored by over 20 mission-critical applications trapped in rigid, Oracle-based logic that hindered their ability to scale and innovate. To remain competitive, they faced the daunting task of decoupling these services from their legacy roots and transitioning to a modern, cloud-native architecture. This evolution required a complete structural overhaul, including a shift toward containerization and a high-stakes database migration to PostgreSQL. Beyond the technical migration, the organization struggled with high operational complexity and a lack of transparency, necessitating a shift toward CI/CD automation and deep system observability to regain control over their digital environment.

We containerised the core applications and APIs using Kubernetes, providing the elastic scalability necessary for modern traffic demands. The data layer was transformed by migrating the legacy Oracle DB to PostgreSQL, leveraging automation processes and a modular API design to ensure data integrity while minimising manual intervention. To streamline the development lifecycle, we established robust automated CI/CD pipelines and integrated a comprehensive ELK stack for real-time observability, replacing guesswork with data-driven insights.
